Having fire extinguishers strategically placed in your establishment is not a complete answer to fire safety. Your organization should have an internal system established to prevent and respond to man made and natural emergencies.

Our Fire Safety program provides participants with the knowledge necessary to prevent fires in the workplace and also focuses on the basic elements of fire prevention and protection. Upon successful completion, a certificate will be issued automatically.

Section 115

        (2) Without limiting subsection (1), an employer must

               (a) remedy any workplace conditions that are hazardous to the health or safety

                     employer's workers,

              (b)  ensure that the employer's workers

                          (i) are made aware of all known or reasonably foreseeable health or

                              safety hazards to which they are likely to be exposed by their work.
